Joe Defranco has shared some awesome exercises and sequences with us over the years, here is one I like to use at the end of an upper body workout.
Blackburns will help strengthen the upper back and rotator cuff. Try these out!

It’s the little things like this that are going to keep your shoulders healthy in the long run. Oftentimes they are over looked so overhead athletes and fighters pay close attention to this great video. Thanks Joe!
I was just searching the net this morning on how to do blackburns. This version is harder than the one I found.
thanks
I can tell you from experience these are no joke even with 10 #.
I did the Black burns before I worked my chest yesterday. I only used five pound plates and I am glad I did. They seemed to really work. I was shaky in doing them. I can see how they can be beneficial.
I have been doing these and variations of these scapular retraction exercises with my athletes for years. Don’t under estimate the value of these exercises!!
I tried two sets of these before my chest workouts the last two weeks. I like the way it warms up your assistant muscles for the bench.
