Athlete Conditioning – Burpee Pull Ups Part II

I have received a lot of feedback about the huge ball grip burpee pull ups.

Questions ranged from sets and reps, to what the heck I had on that bar and how can other people get one.

Well, I will put a video out to show how its made shortly, but in the meantime, here are some more solutions.  There is no need to have the huge ball, its just a variation I developed.

The purpose of the movement is to condition while building muscle and giving the legs somewhat of a rest.   If you do not have a pull up bar, this video shows two other ways to simply get the job done!

Additionally, some friends pointed out that it is also a great way ensure they don’t cheat the jumping portion of the movement. You can see what happened when Kevin didn’t give it his all on one of those jumps – have to get it done every rep!

Those kids look like they’re working hard! The burpee plus pull up combo is one of my all time “in a time crunch” favorites

…LOL @ “pop your feet back, don’t step back”
